Pre-Trip Practice
Our Pre-Trip Practice allows you to become familiar with every aspect of the truck that you’ll be using for your test. The DMV provides a Pre-Trip inspection checklist on their website (ilsos.gov) that is available to download that you are allowed to use on your test as long as there are no markings of any kind on it.
Price: $100.00 per hour
Skills Practice
Our Skills Practice course is laid out with the same measurements as the DMV so you can practice the test maneuvers with the knowledge that the skills you have acquired during your practice will carry over for your actual test. A member of our staff will be onsite to answer any questions you may have that he/she can legally answer. If you feel you need some form of instruction, you are always welcome to bring someone with you to assist you due to the fact that we are only a rental company and not allowed to teach. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Take as much or as little time as you need to perfect your driving techniques for the CDL test. There is absolutely no pressure. You should have fun with this experience and not be too hard on yourself if you’re not progressing as fast as you think you should.

Road Practice
Our Road Practice service will allow you to take the truck that you’ll be testing in on the road and travel the same route that the DMV examiner will take you on. This will not only familiarize you with the route, but, also get you familiar with how to properly make turns to avoid hitting any curbs which would result in an automatic fail of the test. You’ll drive with one of the members of our staff who’ll be able to provide honest feedback if he/she feels like you’re ready for your test or if you’d benefit from a little more practice. Get comfortable navigating various road conditions and traffic situations.
